Purse Pattern - Patched or Solid Handbag with Optional Embellishable Insert by Connie Hester

Patched or Solid Handbag with Optional Embellishable Insert

10" x 8 1/2" x 3 1/2" purse

$8.00 Pattern

While the handbags produced from this purse pattern conveniently carry my cellular phone, appointment diary, checkbooks, sunglasses, and all the smaller necessities of life, this purse pattern also provides a blank slate for creative license. Embellish a solid handbag front with beading or personal touches. Or, create a purse with a patched insert. Or, use paper foundation patterns (included in the pattern packet) to patch together the entire front of the purse. So easy with paper foundations! So many possibilities.

All sections of the purse are bordered with covered piping trim. Lining for the purse includes a pocket, for easy access to keys and loose change. Self strap can be made of fabric, or attach a belt, as I like to do, for a truly classy handbag strap.
