Stylish hand knit vest can be worn comfortably year round. Knitted with fine fingering-weight cotton (2100 yds/lb), any yarn which produces the required gauge can be used. This is the yarn I love to dye with Procion MX fiber-reactive dyes. (The red was purposely unevenly dyed, for character.)
Living in hot humidity the majority of the year, this flattering knit vest is still light and cool.
Gauge on Size 2 US needles is 8 stitches and 11 rows per inch in Stockinette Stitch (Knit 1 row, Purl 1 row).
